A stroll through a Quichua village

This afternoon, the five of us went with Isaac Allan and two of his friends, to a Quichua village on the mountain of Chimborazo. What a neat experience! It was a beautiful day with clear skies, sunshine, and new friends!

We arrived a little early and had time to take a stroll through the village, view some of the dwellings, and then summit the nearest large "hill" and get some fantastic photos. Of course, this was one of those situations which cannot be fully expressed through the lens of a camera, but here's a taste...

This is an antique abode. We're not sure whether or not people still live in these.

We enjoyed this splendid panorama while watching the clouds gather over the mountain tops. There were a few rain drops, and plenty of wind to stimulate our lungs and refresh us. :)

So, is "wind to stimulate our lungs and refresh us" a secret code for "arctic gales," as you use it back home?
