On Wednesday at 9:47 am, Amy departed from the Ark. We were sorry to see her go! We wanted to share with you the beautiful artwork that she worked diligently for weeks to complete.
This is the schoolhouse. It was such fun to watch the train track grow as her work progressed! She did a beautiful job of capturing the diversity of Ecuador's landforms. The flag (upper right) was the last portion of the painting to emerge and it certainly completed the look and feel of the mural!

Each of her murals has many cultural icons. She combined ideas and concepts to create a captivating scene. I love the airplane in this one! The main theme here reminds one of a street in Quito.

Amy, thank you for the beauty, creativity, and thoughtfulness that you added to our lives during your time here! We were incredibly blessed to get to know you and to work alongside you. May God establish your pathway as you seek to serve Him through your giftedness in art and in each way He has equipped you.
