Thank You IMPACT Moms and Daughters!

Last week a new volunteer from Virginia arrived here at The Ark. A special group of moms and daughters in Pennsylvania apprehended her coming and pulled together to quickly execute a sewing project to benefit the junior residents of the children's home.

The IMPACT (Intentionally Ministering Peace, Actively Cultivating Truth) Moms and daughters met for a day in Evans City, PA, and sewed almost 70 long-sleeved bibs for the children here!

Miley looks beautiful in the bright colors!

Antony gets excited at every meal when it's time to put on his bib. There are many different colors and patterns, and the toddlers especially enjoy pointing out the animals, shapes, and colors.

Gabby generally gets a good workout at mealtimes, as she experiments with sliding, throwing, thrashing, screaming, eating, laughing, pouting, and other athletic activities. The bibs have been instrumental in preserving her cute clothes as she learns to feed herself. :)

Lucy is such an energetic creature - we call her a fish! She wears the bibs with great style (she looks especially beautiful in the vibrant summer colors!).

One of the little fellows, John, saw a particular bib lying on the table at lunch time today and informed me in no uncertain terms that it was his. Ismael was randomly barking while he was waiting for his food, and I couldn't figure out why...until I realized that he was watching Nacho play with his bib that had puppies on it!

Thank you so much, IMPACT moms and daughters, for your labor of love to complete this project! I hope you enjoy the photos! When you look at the faces of these sweet children, know that you are a blessing to them even though you may never meet them face to face. Thank you for taking initiative and being ready at a moment's notice to create these bibs. May God bless each of you for your investment in the lives of others!
