Rain and roads

There are glorious raindrops falling on the thirsty ground of Riobamba... This is the first rain we've had since our arrival, and this is supposed to be the rainy season! The drought (since November) is affecting the economy and driving up the price of produce. We're thankful for today's rain and we're praying for more!

Rain washes, refreshes, livens...rain is like truth.

We read the first 10 verses of Ephesians chapter 2 today and we gleaned from it applicable truths. We discussed this:

"For we are God's own handiwork, recreated in Christ Jesus, that we may do those good works which God predestined for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them..." (AMP)

We are so grateful to be walking a path that is fully planned by and known to our powerful and ever-watchful God! We talked about how if each of our lives is like a footpath, then this time of being a team serving together is like each of those paths being blended into a freeway... Our
trajectory and destination are already set, and we are intended by God to do this at this time.

It is an amazing thing to be in the will of God, faithfully completing that which He sets before us.

With the rain to refresh us, we're ready to run!
